PDF format has been a de facto Internet standard. It guarantees that the image seen by the viewer is congruent across all platforms. While PDF requires a viewer, it is readily available as freeware called Adobe Acrobat Reader.

PDF files support security privileges, watermarking and signing, resulting in tools that exist to protect intellectual capital. Also, PDF files can be streamed by page, providing the responsiveness that browser users expect.

A major benefit of our document imaging system is its ability to retrieve an electronic PDF document from any networked PC. Critical to the retrieval process is identifying documents by keywords that will be used throughout the organization for electronic document retrieval. The labeling procedure is, by definition, attaching keywords to the electronic document. With our document imaging system, the operator will simply click on the "Label" button located on the task bar illustrated below:

The following pop-up window appears, allowing the operator to input any keywords or numbers that will be used to retrieve the documents. Unlike many other document imaging solutions, with our system you are not limited to the number of characters or numbers used when labeling.
