Every electronic
document is stored in a customer's segregated document database.
By clicking on the appropriate database link and inputting the
appropriate user name and password, you are able to retrieve
your documents online.
Searching
By inputting your search criteria into the search engine, a list
of documents that match the user-defined search criteria will
appear. Each document is defined by its "file name" and "label
retrieval information" that the company assigns at the time of
scanning. The search capabilities include:
-
Searching across multiple labels
-
Boolean searches (and, or, not)
-
Wildcard searches
-
Date range searches
-
Searching within search results
Viewing
Documents retrieved by the search query process are displayed as
a list within the user's web browser. Clicking on any document
contained within the list will launch Adobe Acrobat Reader
within your browser and display the document for viewing. The
Acrobat Reader plug-in allows the user to:
-
Zoom-in and zoom-out
-
Multi-page PDF file viewing
-
Fit the image to height
-
Fit the image to width
-
View actual size
-
Print the document
-
Save the document
If you want
to fax a document or send it as an e-mail attachment, you can
download the PDF file to your local hard drive over the
Internet. Once stored locally, you can attach it to an e-mail
message or send it to your fax server or PC fax application.
